The first half is cyber punk masturbatory bullshit, but the second is a really enlightening treatise on the way that language forms in the brain. I TOTALLY forgive the first half, for the genius of the second.

Or perhaps some Philip Roth? Just pick any. He's a joy to read. Portnoy's complaint being maybe the best.
