Competitive Art

Last night, the members of 80th Street Studios and I attended the 'Best of' screening for the finalists in the Portland 48 Hour Film Festival. My team's entry, The Undertaking, won best editing honors and came in second out of fifty competing teams. Which is pretty fucking sweet. I wrote 3 pieces of music in 36 hours for the film we entered, and though there's a few thousand changes I'd like to make in retrospect, I think it turned out really well considering the restrictive nature of it.
